I'm Canadian eh? living in Southwestern Ontario. My crew consists of my sweetie Fred, my son (25yrs) and my daughter (22yrs) as well as our 4 legged kids, Maggie (12yrs) and Wilson (1year). Franklin was my sweet boy who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2012. His leg was amputated on December 4, 2012. He was the cutest tripawd on this planet. He was happy every day. His tail was always wagging. Lung Mets took him from us on May 15, 2013. Rainbow bridge became a happier place with his arrival. We miss him terribly everyday. We lost our kitty in September 2012. Diesel, who was 18 1/2 years old when he passed at home, was (and still is) the Godfather. He is missed terribly by all. They are curled up together sleeping at the bridge under the stars, happy to be sleeping buddies again.

  1. Awww Chris. Thank you so much for sharing some great pictures of Franklin and his toys. I am sure he will teach Wilson how to hold a ball. LOL might take some time to do that but he will 😉

Mr. Wilson—do NOT carry that ball like that i public! Trust us on that! But you re so darn cute….go ajead… carry it anyway you want!!

Now Christne, does Fred know you dressed Frank n’ Farter up in his scarf? Frank wears it in a very manly way and it ks somewhat color coordinated with yoir squeaky toy! You are ne proud SQUEAKY TOY HOLDER! k ow you are a gentleman, but I bet you are NOT sharing YOUR squeaks! I’ve got a feeling all “turkey girls” (come on Chrisitne…”turkey girl”…really??) are healthy and whole where you are amd there are no harsh winters to freeze their little turkey necks!!:-)

Christine, thanks for sharing these wonderful’happy memories withus. It helps us heal too and helps us focus on those wonderfully bright memories he gave us all!

  3. Love those squeaky toy pics. You can certainly tell how happy he was with one in his mouth. Probably has piles of them on his side of the bridge.

Wilson, just practice opening your mouth a little wider. You don’t want to look like a fufu dog (that’s how my papillion holds one-eek!)
