Time flies… when you are in a coma!!

Why does time have to fly by so fast????

It seems that way with our fur kids… why does time have to fly by so fast… *sigh*  There really is never enough time.. and no way to solve that problem… so the only way we can handle it is … LIVE IN THE MOMENT!!  extra snuggles, extra belly rubs.. extra ice cream.. extra ball playing, extra, extra, extra…  and we are loving it!  When Franklin was gone.. I really did not want another dog.. I want to live out the rest of Maggie’s days spoiling her rotton and when she ran for the bridge… I just wanted some time… without furbabies to worry about, board when we go on vacation, feed, pick up shit!! (and I am the only one that does that!!!)  lol

But.. I have come to realize tht I have had dogs in my life for 37 years straight!  I guess you could say I am a dog person.. and can’t see myself without one..   Could be worse I guess.. lol

So.. this brings me to Mr. Wilson…   who.. is 21 weeks old but officially 5 months old on September 23!!  5 MONTHS!!!!!  ok.. the next question is.. when will he stop GROWING!!!!  OH i know that our doggers grow till they are about 16-18 months old.. but man oh man.. check out the size of him now compared to  June 13 when we brought that little bundle of joy home!

such a little bundle of cuteness all settled down between my feet in the car ride home – 7 1/2 weeks old

I'm Canadian eh? living in Southwestern Ontario. My crew consists of my sweetie Fred, my son (25yrs) and my daughter (22yrs) as well as our 4 legged kids, Maggie (12yrs) and Wilson (1year). Franklin was my sweet boy who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2012. His leg was amputated on December 4, 2012. He was the cutest tripawd on this planet. He was happy every day. His tail was always wagging. Lung Mets took him from us on May 15, 2013. Rainbow bridge became a happier place with his arrival. We miss him terribly everyday. We lost our kitty in September 2012. Diesel, who was 18 1/2 years old when he passed at home, was (and still is) the Godfather. He is missed terribly by all. They are curled up together sleeping at the bridge under the stars, happy to be sleeping buddies again.

  2. Holy Cow! (And I’m not talking about that little extra bit we got in that one picture 🙂 ), Wilson is a big boy now. Maggie looks so happy playing and laying with him. Can’t you just see Franklin looking down and smiling (or farting!).

I know I could never be without a dog regardless of the heartache. They just make my life whole.

    Thanks for sharing the pics!!

    1. I don’t think I could be without a dog either… part of me would like the freedom.. then the other part slaps me upside the head and says “HUH.. ??”
glad I listen to that part.. lol

  3. Oh, Christine, what a CUTIE!!! My first dog was a springer, passed on to me when my sis moved out, so they’ve always got a special place in my heart. I love it when Franklin’s banner is up.
GREAT pics; Maggie is beautiful! Nice cheeks. ( Probably wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it ut…it’s a gene-pool thing; nothing to do be done about it.) Since that first springer (over 45 years ago – YIKES) I’ve only been dogless long enough for the next one to come into my life. Cats, too; it’s just part of who we are.

    1. True Liz… dog people are… dog people.. Non-dog people.. they just don’t get it!! but maybe they are kitty-people!!!

  4. OMD! I love seeing the hoppiness and the joy in your pack. It makes total sense why you couldn’t be without dogs in your life, believe me, this is the crowd who GETS it.

What an adorable couple of pups you have there. Your son, well….bhahahahha!

  5. Christine! This has got to be one of the best posts ever! AThe pups! The moon! The captions! Whst more could we want?

These pictures are “over the moon cute”! Sorry, had to say it!

The bottom picture…am I seeing the beginnings of a Frank n’ farter smile there? Perhapa a little too much “collagen” in his bottom lips?

Perhaps your sn could use collagen to “fill in the craxk”…..tee.
    …hee

Mr. Wilson and Miss Msggie’s action shots are womderful! Great photo.

So glad Wilson and Maggie are friends. I know it helps Maggie to have a pup to help train.

  6. What a handsome fella Mr.Wilson! Nothing like a kid in the house for sure. Once it’s in the blood having dogs it never leaves.
