Me… and the couch!!!

one week today….  and almost to the exact time we were saying goodbye…

I’m sitting here reading through Mr. Magoo’s blog and I said to myself… “hey… self..”

there is a picture of your sweetie asleep on the couch with the pups…

there is a picture of your son on the couch too..

and.. even my daughter..

but.. hey…. where am I????

So.. in honor of my handsome guy… my sweet boy who is tearing up the bridge… I thought I would share…. the dreaded sleeping couch… starring… ME!!!!  and my furbabies…

(who says my animals are spoiled??  huh?)  Frankie still has all his four legs in the one with the four of us…and ok.. I’m not really sleeping.. Maggie and I are watching a movie. Franklin and Diesel are sleeping…

but he is a tri in the one of him and I sharing our blanket..

*sigh*

I'm Canadian eh? living in Southwestern Ontario. My crew consists of my sweetie Fred, my son (25yrs) and my daughter (22yrs) as well as our 4 legged kids, Maggie (12yrs) and Wilson (1year). Franklin was my sweet boy who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2012. His leg was amputated on December 4, 2012. He was the cutest tripawd on this planet. He was happy every day. His tail was always wagging. Lung Mets took him from us on May 15, 2013. Rainbow bridge became a happier place with his arrival. We miss him terribly everyday. We lost our kitty in September 2012. Diesel, who was 18 1/2 years old when he passed at home, was (and still is) the Godfather. He is missed terribly by all. They are curled up together sleeping at the bridge under the stars, happy to be sleeping buddies again.

  1. 4 legs or 3 legs. He knows you love him Chris & miss him. You are right he is tearing up the Bridge, meeting & greating the newbies. Teaching them tricks of the places to hide & places to chase the butterflies, squirrels & rabbits.

He knows you love him. And he loved the snuggle time. Thank you for sharing those with us

  2. That is one great couch! What great memories you have on that couch and in these pictures – you are a loving family and all those prove that.

  3. Fabulous. What a guy Frankie was! I bet he misses that couch…and his momma. One week down…

  4. Ya’ know, when a “thought” like that crosses your mind, I REALLY do believe a message is being sent from a dimension of energy that we may not understand but, if one is open,……………….. Thank you Frank for continuing to let your mom know you are okay and still sharing your energy with her.

No surprise that Frank n’ Farther is “sending” messages about the couch:-) 🙂 Clearly that’s where some of the best snuggle time in the world was spet:-) 🙂

Always look forward to any pictures any time you want to share. Your relationship was, and still is, beautiful.
